A chef viaja por todas as regiões do Brasil para conhecer pajés, curandeiras, raizeiras, representantes de comunidades tradicionais e lideranças femininas que mantêm essas tradições vivas. In the Contestado Settlement in Paraná, a place created through agrarian reform, Bela Gil meets two women who live off the land and learns about UFPs and holistic health. Bela’s Roots aims to offer alternative ways to approach health in a holistic manner. The chef travels throughout all regions of Brazil to meet with shamans, healers, herbalists, representatives of traditional communities, and female leaders who keep these traditions alive.
